i just stoped in here for some other reason
but i can say that if you bay a house in greece or a farm doesnt make you rich
Or make a bit more clear ,,,,,,,,
you cant call yourself rich just by baying a house in the other country
I live in uk and earn 50000 euros a year and i think i still consider myself as a working class person ...........
You can make that dream for yourself
but most of us dont have or cant save that much money to bay a farm
i think you need to grow up and live you real life
sorry mate dont want to be rude toyou

That's true! But it's dependent on where you buy the house. Even in Brazil and in Greece you can find really expensive houses, but the chances to get a good-sold one are more in these two countries than in US or UK.

You are right, but the concept of "rich" could go way beyond.
However, fact is that, to buy a medium to high standard house in countries like Greece, Spain and, in my case, Brazil, among others you will expend no much more than you would expend in a new medium class car. In reality those houses would be seem as luxurious in Ireland where a simple medium class one go over 200.000 Euros.

I don't like your ironic tone, though I will answer you.

GDP per capita USA: $44,333
GDP per capita Germany $36,975
GDP per capita Netherlands $38,618
GDP per capita UK $38,624
GDP per capita Greece $20,794

I compare Greece to US and Europe. I will take no answer comparing wages of Greece and Nigeria.
In comparison to other EU countries, we are not rich.

Basic wage of unskilled staff in Greece is 630 euro, in Netherlands it is about 1300 euros, in UK about 1220 euros, in France 1300, in Ireland 1200.

Try to be more kind next time even if you disagree with me.

"...rich in Greece is somebody who has the average American or European wage." (hahahaha)
Oh my dear friend, where do you live? Rich in Greece is someone who is also rich in USA or Europe! We're not in the '50's any more! Wake up!
