List Of World’s ‘Must-See’ Destinations Includes Santorini Island
The island of Santorini has been included in the must-see sites for everyone in the world. The list was announced by US travel magazine Smithsonian.
The list named "43 places to see before you die" contains extraordinary sites around the world. Two of Greece's best attraction spots, The Parthenon and the island of Santorini, have reserved the list.
This is the time when tourism appears very important for Greece's economy to show some upgrading. Among spots like Galapagos Islands, Pyramids etc, Santorini and Parthenon have made it to the list of world's top destinations which is certainly going to help country's economy.
"Santorini's primary attraction is its deep tranquil atmosphere. There are few places in the world where time stands still and Santorini is one of them," the magazine declares.
